Dorothy G. Born

Dorothy G. Born, 92, of Gregg Avenue, Shillington, died Dec. 20 at 10:22 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient for one day.

Her husband, W. Irvin Born, died in 1955.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Cora (Fox) Brunner.

She had been employed as a waitress and clerk by F.W. Woolworth Co., Reading, retiring in 1962.

Born was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Reading.

She is survived by a son, David B., Mohnton.

There are also four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Donald, on June 14, 1985.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
