Dorothy A. Baver, 92 formerly of Port Clinton died surrounded by her loving family on September 6, 2011 in the home of her son David in Molino. She was the widow of Alfred Baver who died December 11, 2001. Dorothy was born in Hamburg and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Maggie (Correll) Casper. Dorothy worked for many years for the Reading Railroad Freight House as a freight handler, and then worked as a machine operator for the Raubenhold Company, Port Clinton. She last worked for the Wearever Pen & Pencil Company, Deer Lake. Dorothy was a member of St. John's Church, Port Clinton. She is survived by her two sons, David R. husband of Helen Baver, Molino, Dennis husband of Beverly J. Baver, Molino, one brother, Clyde husband of Arlean Casper, Windsor Township, a sister in law, Ethel Casper, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns Church, Port Clinton.
