Dorothy V. Auman, 87, formerly of Lincoln Park, and a resident of Phoebe Berks Village for seven years, died February 26, 2008 in Reading Hospital Emergency Room.
Her husband William H. Auman died October 4, 1988.
Born in Windsor Township, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Sarah W. (Reichert) Seidel.
Dorothy was a packer for the former Burkey Underwear Company, Hamburg, for nine years. She also was employed for 20 years in food service at Wilson High School, retiring in 1983.
She is survived by three sons, Gary W., husband of Rachel (Reiner) Auman, Centerville, Ohio; Richard D., husband of Elizabeth (Reed) Auman, Spring Township; and Clair D. Auman, Columbus, Ohio. There is one brother, William W. Seidel, Hamburg and one sister, Betty L. Seidel, Lenhartsville.
Five grandchildren, Meg E. Auman, Centerville; Seth D., husband of Abby (Marvin), Bellevue, OH; Jennifer L. Auman, Owings Mills, MD; Betsy L. Auman, Charleston, SC; and Lynn M. Auman, Spring Township, also survive her.
