Dorothy A. Moyer

Dorothy A. Moyer, 95, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at her Reading home. She was the wife of the late Raymond Moyer, Jr.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Verna (Sabol) Ziats.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Bonnie Sadowskas, widow of Bruce; Becky Hart, wife of Daniel; Barry Moyer, husband of Elizabeth; and Raymond Moyer III, husband of Deborah; grandchildren: Benjamin and Brianne Sadowskas; Allison Smalstig, wife of Ty; and Zachary Moyer, husband of Susan; and five great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brothers: John, Andrew, and Francis Ziats; sisters: Helen Tkac, Rose DiLullo, and Julie Pelchar; as well as her grandson, Bronson Sadowskas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Cemetery's Chapel of Resurrection with interment to follow. The viewing will be held from 11-12 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611.

The Moyer family would like to thank the Tower Health Hospice Nurses for their care of Dorothy.
