Doris I. Yons

Doris Irene Yons, 88, of Oley and formerly of Bethlehem, died April 9, 2014 in Kutztown Manor.

She was the wife of Edwin C. Yons, who died May 9, 2010.

Born November 19, 1925 in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Asa Wetzel and Edna M. (Steiger) Wetzel-Mills.

Surviving are her two children: Judith E. Angstadt, fiancée of Rev. Merrill R. Marisseau of Oley and Bruce A., husband of Catherine Kutz of Pittsburgh.

Also surviving is her sister, Lorraine (Wetzel), wife of William J. Geyer Jr., of Hellertown.

Other survivors include her five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by her brother, James Wetzel and her sister, Eleanor Sloyer.
