Doris E. Wertman

Doris E. Wertman, 84, Exeter Township, died July 4 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient one day.

She was the wife of Jack W. Wertman.

Born in Tremont, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Bertram and Minnie (Minnig) Boltz.

A registered nurse, Wertman was employed for many years by St. Joseph's Hospital, retiring in 1988.

She was a graduate of Tremont High School and a 1942 graduate of the St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing.

Wertman is also survived by a daughter, Patricia A. (Wertman) Winch, Silver Spring, Md.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
