Doris M. Weinman

Doris Mae (Gardner) Weinman,91, of Fleetwood died February 15, 2025 at home surrounded by family.

She was the loving wife of Bruce K. Weinman. Doris was born April 3, 1933 in Temple to Paul S. and Helen E. Gardner.

Doris was a 1951 graduate of Muhlenberg High School where she was the leader of the flag twirlers and a member of the color guard. During her high school years, she met the love of her life, Bruce, who played on the football team. They would have been married 73 years this June.

For many years, she cherished her summers at Leisure Point in Delaware fishing, crabbing, and clamming with her family. She retired from Meridian Bank as the supervisor of the Bankcard Division. Above all, Doris cherished her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, affectionately called Grammy. She will be greatly missed and adored forever.

Doris is survived by her husband, Bruce, and their children: Debra Kemmerer (wife of David), Fleetwood, Diane Pennington (wife of Jack), Muhlenberg Twp., and David Weinman (husband of Melanie), Orwigsburg. She was a wonderful and loving mother and Grammy to 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Other survivors include her sisters, Ruth (Gardner) Levan and Joan (Gardner) Dutt. She was predeceased by her brothers Jack Gardner, Paul Gardner, and Earl Gardner and her sister Ardelle (Gardner) Hart.

Services will be held Friday February 21 at 12:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple PA 19560. A viewing will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. the morning of the service. Burial will follow at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading PA 19605.
