Doris M. Mazzacca

Doris Mazzacca, 90, of Wyomissing, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in the care of the dedicated staff of the Highlands and Grane Hospice.  She was the loving widow of John Mazzacca, who passed away on April 29, 2013.

Born in Bayonne, NJ, to the late Edward and Josephine Heinbokel, Doris graduated from Bayonne High School in 1949 before graduating from Kathryn Gibbs Business School, New York, NY, in 1951. She went on to attend the William Patterson University in Wayne, NJ. Doris was the program director for 17 years of Willowbrook ministries. She also owned and operated The Diet Center of Lincoln Park, NJ, and Montville, NJ, until her retirement.

Doris enjoyed the distinction of selection as the Wayne Woman of the Year.

Left to treasure Doris's memory are her daughter, Lee Ann Castelli and son in law Gregory Yelenoc of Reading; her foster daughter, Roberta Mouser of Goose Creek, SC; her grandchildren, Josef Yelenoc, Marley Castelli, Ben Castelli, Jessica Castelli, their spouses and her 4 great grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and William and their wives, Bernice and Anne.

Doris was beautiful inside and out. She  had a smile and a hello for everyone she came in contact with and will be remembered for her generous and loving nature.

Services for Doris will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Doris's memory may be offered to One by One Cat Rescue, in memory of her beloved cats Luna and Sammy.
