Doris E. Stuart Miller

Doris E. (Wetzel) Stuart Miller, 76 of 613 Carsonia Ave., Pennside died September 14th at 11:24 a.m. in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading where she had been since September 5th.

She was the wife of Richard H. Miller.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Clarence O. and Clara A. (Wolf) Wetzel.

Miller was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Mount Penn.

She was a 1943 graduate of West Reading High School and a 1946 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

Miller was a private duty registered nurse for a number of years until her retirement.

She was in the Cadet Nurse Corp. during WWII.

Miller is also survived by a daughter, Dorian E. Stuart of Exeter Township.

Other survivors include a step-daughter, Christine M. (Miller) Taylor of Doylestown and three step-sons; Philip R. Miller of Simpsonville, S.C., Gregory B. Miller of Ringwood, N.J. and Dennis V. Miller of Shelton, Conn.

She is also survived by a granddog, Tess.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing Monday evening 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assn., 2045 Westgate Drive Suite 302, Bethlehem, Pa 18017.
