Doris E. Heinz

Doris E. "Debbie" Heinz, 97, of Shillington, died June 8, 2009 in the Mifflin Center.

Her husband, Miles T. Heinz, Sr., died May 28 1999. They were married in 1937.

They were long time residents of West Reading.

Born in Shanesville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Josephine (Walker) Blickensderfer.

She was a 1930 graduate of Sugar Creek - Shanesville High School, Ohio.

Doris is survived by two sons, Miles Thomas Heinz Jr., Sydney Australia, John Eric, husband of Joanne A. (Lynch) Heinz, Minneapolis, MN; two sisters, Norma (Blickensderfer) Haglock, Dover, Ohio and Marge (Blickensderfer) White, Alliance, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Miles Thomas Heinz III, Damon Mitchell Heinz and Laura (Heinz) wife of Mike Oare. One great - granddaughter Emily Rose Oare also survive her.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Brandon Wayne Heinz.

Services will be Monday at 3pm in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call Monday from 2:00-3:00pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Laureldale Cemetery.Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
