Doris L. Behm

Doris L. Behm, 78, of West Lawn, died June 29, 2009 in Mifflin Center.

She was the wife of John L. Behm.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Park R. and Barbara A. (Steffy) Pickel.

She was a member of Lighthouse Christian Center, West Reading.

Doris was employed by AT&T for over 30 years until her retirement.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Clark R. Behm, West Lawn, Gordon J. Behm, companion of Nancy Conrad, West Lawn and Pastor S. R. Behm, Sinking Spring; and one daughter, Sandra L., wife of Forrest Bossler, Reading. Eight grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer and Joshua Behm; Kelly Mohn, April Lena, Karrissa Ebert, Jessica Bossler and Rachel Behm; and five great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Christopher Behm, Lily and Elijah Mohn and Aeris Ebert also survive her.

She was predeceased by one son, Rodney L. Behm.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18 at 5 p.m. in Lighthouse Christian Center, West Reading.
