Dora P. Kugler

Dora "Dolly" P. Kugler, 87, of Wernersville, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, in the care of Phoebe Berks. She celebrated her 65th wedding anniversary on November 10, 2021, with her husband, George J. Kugler.

Born in Reading to the late Walter S. Kruszewski Sr. and Stella (Swierczewski) Kruszewski, Dolly graduated from Central Catholic in 1952. She and George raised a loving family, and as her girls grew older, Dolly took a position in the administrative offices of Boscov's. She worked as a secretary for the buyers until her retirement in 1997.

She was a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, Whitfield.

A dedicated wife and mother, Dolly was an awesome Mom Mom. She enjoyed family trips to Stone Harbor, as well as her and George's trips to the casino or traveling along the circuit of golf tournaments. She was an avid reader with a keen sense of humor. The true life of the party, "the whole fam-damn-ily" will miss her greatly.

Left to treasure her memory are her husband, George; her daughters, Susan L. Mundy (Patrick A.) of Plymouth Meeting; Lisa A. Alderman (Thomas W.) of Downingtown; and Karen M. Quinn (M. Conor) of Towson, MD; grandchildren: Vincent P. Mundy (Caitlin); Megan S. Fultz (Skyler); Caitlin N. Mundy; Tyler D. Alderman (Allison); Ryan T. Alderman (Victoria); Dylan T. Alderman; Devon M. Quinn; and Owen M. Quinn; and great grandchildren: Brody Mundy; Brett Mundy; Maeve Mundy; Harlow Alderman; Shane Alderman, Heidi Alderman, and Sloane Alderman. Dolly is also survived by her sister, Florence "Cookie" McCombs (Richard L.) of Columbus, OH. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter S. Kruszewski Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Church, 2600 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19609, with committal to follow at the Chapel of St. George, Gethsemane Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather Monday, November 15, 2021, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Edward J.
