Donna Jean (Brockmeier) Hoffman, 59, of Spring Township, died October 4, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
She was the wife of Robert G. Hoffman, whom she married February 26, 1972.
Born in Reading, PA on November 15, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Robert Brockmeier and Dorothy (Reinhold) Brockmeier. She was also predeceased by a step-father, James A. Wright, Jr.
Donna was a 1968 graduate of Reading High School.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Reading.
Donna was employed a number of years as a sales clerk with Pomeroy's and a number of years with the Humane Society, both in Reading.
She was later employed as a party planner with various companies, last working with "Your Finishing Touch".
Donna was a committee member of BSA Troop #456, Sinking Spring.
She had many hobbies, including showing English Setters and collecting Fenton Glassware.
Donna was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.
She is also survived by two children: Heath R., husband of Margaret H. (Hinnershitz) Hoffman of Frederick, Maryland and Heather L. (Hoffman), wife of Anthony D. Gajewski of Kenhorst Borough.
Other survivors include a step-mother, Carol Brockmeier and two sisters: Nancy (Brockmeier), wife of Larry Scales and Linda (Brockmeier), wife of John Stiefel, all of Cincinnati, Ohio.
There are also three grandchildren: Autumn L. Hoffman, Nikolas A. Gajewski and Lucas D. Hoffman.
Her best friend of 32 years also survives her; Diane Sagemuehl of Spring Township.
Services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with the Rev. Darryl A. Cruz officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
