Donna A. Hix

Donna A. Hix, 71, of Sinking Spring passed away on August 27th at the Reading Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Leesport, she was the daughter of the late John L. G. and Kathryn M. (Hottenstein) Dietrich.

She was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School in 1952.

She worked as a treasurer for Berks –Enviro-Tech of West Reading for 22 years.

She is survived by one son, Charles J. Hix, Jr., Burton, OH, and four daughters Kathleen A. Hix, whom she resided with, Cynthia E. (Hix) Bagenstose, Wyomissing, Cheryl S. (Hix) Thomas, Cumru Township, and Wendy J. Hix, Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include one brother, John Dietrich, Leesport.

There are also seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Hix, Kristyna Hix, Kevin Hix, Brant Thomas, Jaimie Thomas, Devlin Thomas and Brittany Bagenstose.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Rev. Willard Uhler will be officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service. Burial will be in St. John's Gernant Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
