Donald M. Yost

Donald M. Yost, 89, Wyomissing, formerly of Cumru Township, died May 4 at 5:15 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since April 28.

His wife, Mary E. (Yost) Yost, died June 13, 2000.

Born in Parkerford, Chester County, he was a son of the late William J. and Grade D. (Madeira) Yost.

Yost was employed for 49 years as a distribution manager in the Mid-Atlantic Division by Glen-Gery Brick Corp., Wyomissing, retiring in 1985.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Yost was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Shoemakersville.

He was a 1932 graduate of Perry High School and a 1934 graduate of McCann's School of Business, Reading.

Surviving are three nieces.

Memorial services will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private in Yocum's Cemetery, Grill.
