Donald L. White

Donald L. White, 98, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret Ann (Heisler) White, who passed away in 2018.

Born in Reading, he was the only son of the late Leroy and Rhea (Freese) White. Donald was a proud WWII veteran of the United States Army. After his military service, he became a Teamster in the United Steel Worker's Union and drove trucks crosscountry for Ennis Steel Industries for many years. He retired from driving for Rozzi Brothers Windows.

Donald is survived by his daughters with Jacqueline Dampman, Crystal Richardson (Richard) of Chadds Ford and Juanita Smith (Mitchell) of Monroeton; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Hatt in 2005.

A Celebration of Donald's Life will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home in West Reading. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment with military honors will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Laureldale.
