Donald L. Snader

Donald L. Snader, 82, died June 23, 2014, in his Wernersville residence.

He was the husband of Merelene P. (Sweitzer) Snader.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Lewis and Elsie (Brossman) Snader.

He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Korean War.

Donald was a truck driver for Garrett Buchanan Paper Co. for 35 years retiring in 1990. After retirement, he was a part-time security guard for Security Guards, Inc. and Reading Hospital. He also worked part-time for Berks County Communications as a dispatcher.

He is survived by his children, Mark, Linda and Kevin; and his two siblings, Norman Snader, Leesport and Christine Snader, Lititiz.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
