Donald E. Seaman

Donald E. "Mike" Seaman, 71, Muhlenberg Township, died June 23rd, at 7:54 a.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been since June 18th.

He was the husband of Mary A. (Maier) Seaman.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Llewellyn and Margaret (Krebs) Seaman.

He was a 1954 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Seaman was employed for 40 years as a copper refiner for Reading Tube,Ontelaunee Twp., retiring in 1997.

He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

Seaman is also survived by a son, Michael J., Muhlenberg Twp., and a daughter, Patricia Ann (Seaman) Schmeck, Laureldale.

Other survivors include a foster son, Ronald Ulrich, Laureldale, and a foster daughter, Sandra Trexler, York.

There are also eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
