Donald B. Reppert

Donald B. Reppert, 86, of Upper Bern Township died June 30th, 2014 in his residence. He was the husband of Rosetta M. (Reckley) Reppert. Donald was born in Hamburg and was the son of the late Claude and Stella (Brendle) Reppert. He was a 1945 graduate of Hamburg High School. Donald served his country as a Korean War Era Army veteran. He was a corporal in the service Battery 83rd field artillery battalion, Fort Bragg, N.C. Donald worked as a long distance truck driver for Branch Trucking for many years. He was a member of The Bridge Church, Windsor Township. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Steven J. Reppert, Tilden Township and Bradley D. Reppert of Bally, 1 daughter, Kathryn widow of Michael Gallahger, Taylorville, Ill. and 2 granddaughters. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Shirley widow of Paul Hockman, Telford, Ruth wife of Frank Schappell, Perry Township, and 2 brothers, Samuel Reppert, Kutztown, and Earl Reppert. Donald was predeceased by a son Kent G. Report on June 16th, 1993. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3rd at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg, PA.
