Donald Wilmer Mensch

Donald Wilmer Mensch, 85, formerly of Reading, passed away in Riverwoods Lewisburg PA.

He was the husband of Betty Mae (Smith) Mensch.

Born in Locust Township, he was a son of the late Wilmer and Sarah (Houck) Mensch.

He was a 1940 graduate of Locust Township High School, Numidia, PA.

As a young man, he worked on the Mensch family farm, Columbia County, Donald was also employed by Charles L. Golden Ford Dealership, Reading; Lee Heffner Ford Dealership, Temple and Albright College as a custodian.

He was a member of the Central Park United Methodist Church, Reading.

In addition to his wife, he a survived by a sister, Dorothy L. (Mensch) LeVan, Danville, PA.

Donald is predeceased by two brothers, Carleton E. Mensch; Mervin Mensch; and a sister, Irene LeVan.

Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences maybe recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
