Donald Wilmer Kline

Donald Wilmer Kline, 86, died December 22, 2014 in his Maidencreek Township residence.

He was the husband of Judith Selma (Jones) Kline, whom he married June 17, 1985.

Born January 9, 1928 in Reading, he was a son of the late Larry and Pearl Elizabeth (Staub) Kline.

Donald was employed as a truck driver with Bachman, Reading, for 30 years, retiring in 1985. After retirement, he worked part-time with Manderbach Ford delivering cars for over 10 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is his son, David D. Kline of Maidencreek Township and his grandson, Cory Kline.

Other survivors include his sisters, May S. (Kline) Rader of Hershey and Pearl E. (Kline), wife of Richard J. Smolan of Lower Alsace Township.

Donald was predeceased by his three siblings: Grace (Kline) Martin, Larry R. Kline and Winston L. Kline.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery.
