Donald E. Keim, 74, of Wyomissing, died April 1, 2013, in Sentara Princess Ann Hospital, Virginia Beach, VA.
He was the husband of Jeanne A. (Waters) Keim. They had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year on April 22.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Norman and Kathryn (Dunkelberger) Keim.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Donald was the owner/operator of Keim's Sewing Machines, Wyomissing for 51 years; the business continues to operate in West Reading. He also owned Baby's Outlet, Wyomissing for 15 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Donald Jr., and his wife Deb (Schaeffer), Wyomissing, Lynn Pellegrini, and her husband Denny of OH and Julie Hyland and her husband Bill of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by his brother Barry, West Lawn and his sister, Gloria Lerch, Reading and nine grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jerry Keim.
Visiting hours will be Monday April 8 from 10 am to 12 noon at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading with services immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
