Donald J. Kehm

Donald J. Kehm, 79 of Tilden Township died April 17th in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he had been a patient the past 6 days. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Sipple) Kehm. Donald was born in Allentown on April 12th, 1934 and was the son of the late Frank G. and Mary H. (McMann) Kehm. Donald was a dock worker for 35 years for Consolidated Freight, Allentown Branch retiring in 1991. He was a life member of Teamsters Local 773. He was an Army veteran. In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by 2 daughters; Judy wife of Tom Decker, Kresgeville, Pa., Mary Lou widow of David Salasky, New Castle, DE. 1 son; Donald J. Kehm, Jr. and his companion Judy Ort, Allentown. He is also survived by 5 stepchildren; Debra Schlegel companion of Henry Howell, Easton, Lisa wife of Robert Bubbenmoyer, Allentown, Sherri wife of Steve Kershner, Hellertown, Dalton husband of Stacy Glass, Tilden Township and Andrew husband of Christina Glass, Smithfield, NC. And 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by 2 brothers; Frank and John Kehm. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 20th at 2:00 Pm from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg, Pa. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
