Donald Percival Hunsberger, 82, of Mohrsville passed away in his home on April 20. He died peacefully with his family by his side. Don served in the US Marine Corps and fought in the Korean War. Donald "Huck" worked proudly for the Ironworkers Local 420 for 38 years. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. He was known for his strength, his good sense of humor and practical joking. His PA Dutch sayings and stories will long be remembered. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and trapshooting, winning many awards. He also won many weightlifting and bodybuilding competitions – Mr. Reading, Mr. Berks County. "Pop Pop" is survived by 4 children – Mark Hunsberger, husband of Abby (Gipprich); Holly Keller, Guy Hunsberger, husband of Linda (Purdy) and Heather Prosser. There are 10 grandchildren – Laura Keller, Kristin Keller, Jennifer Keller, Melissa Speagle, Marc Hunsberger, Bryn Hunsberger, Madalyn Hunsberger, Ethan Goodwin, Gavin Goodwin, Ryan Goodwin, and 2 great grandchildren – Willie Arndt, Brynn Hunsberger. Additional survivors include his sisters, Carol Behm, Sandy Wentzel, Judy Noll, Ruth Behm and Hettie Lou Hummel. His parents, Edgar and Lillian Hunsberger; his sister, Doris Kline; his wife of 47 years, Jean Hunsberger, and his daughter, Joy Hunsberger, predeceased Donald. A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg.
