Donald L. Hartman

Donald L. Hartman, 68, of Tilden Township, passed away in Orwigsburg Center.

He was the companion of Joan M. (Hertzog) Zimmerman, who was his soul mate and love of his life.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Lloyd C. and Pauline K. (Koch) Hartman.

He was a 1962 graduate from Oley Valley High School.

Donald was a good handyman who enjoyed woodworking.

He was a driver and salesman for Zee Medical Service, Reading, retiring in 1982.

Donald was a member of P.O.S. of A., Oley.

Surviving are his children: Donald L. Hartman Jr., husband of Denise, Oley, Patricia A., wife of Jeff Lutz, Hershey, and Christine A., wife of Thomas Woronko, Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include two sisters, seven grandchildren, and a special Uncle Paul and Aunt Clara.

Donald was predeceased by one brother.

Services will be Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, Inc. 423 Main St. Oley, PA 19547. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
