Donald R. Gillmor

Donald R. Gillmor, 91, a resident of Outlook Pointe, Exeter Township, formerly of Eisenbrown Road, Muhlenberg Township, died May 14 at 10:50 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., Muhlenberg Township, where he had been a patient for one month.

His wife, Albertina (Piergrossi) Quaintance Gillmor, died in 1988. His first wife, Florence (Druzba) Gillmor, died in 1963.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harry Gillmor and Elizabeth Gillmor Smith. He was also predeceased by his stepfather, Harry Smith.

Gillmor had been employed as a mechanic by several area trucking businesses.

He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.

Gillmor was a 1931 graduate of Reading High School.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Gillmor has no immediate survivors.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
