Donald R. Fromm

Donald R. "Frommy" Fromm, 81, of Sinking Spring, died November 1, 2016, in Mifflin Center.

He is survived by his wife, Marian L. (Kintzer) Fromm, whom he married January 21, 1956.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Oliver and Sadie Mabel (Showers) Fromm.

Donald was a 1953 graduate of Sinking Spring High School and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was a steel worker at Carpenter for 30 and a half years, retiring in 1995.

Donald was a very good golfer, enjoyed bowling, and was an avid hunter.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by one son, Randy D. Fromm, husband of Arlene Parisi, Cumru Twp. Two step grandchildren, Vincent Parisi, III, West Reading and Victoria Parisi, West Lawn, also survive him.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Pearl, Richard, John and George.

A service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
