Donald R. Ermold

Dr. Donald R. Ermold, 74, died February 7 at 12:10 p.m. of natural causes in his Spring Township residence.

He was the husband of Louise M. (Moyer) Ermold.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Raymond E. and Kathryn (Link) Ermold.

Dr. Ermold was a self employed family physician for 40 years at 425 East Lancaster Avenue in Shillington, retiring in June of 1997.

He was a graduate of Reading High School, Albright College and Temple Medical School.

Dr. Ermold was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Cumru Township.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Marc and Eric both of Shillington and one daughter Kathy (Ermold) Zima, Kutztown. There are also 7 grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Grace Fellowship Church, 622 Old Lancaster Pike Shillington, PA 19607. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Fellowship Church at the above address or to the American Cancer Society 498 Bellevue Avenue Reading, PA 19605.
