Donald C. Ermentrout

Donald Collier Ermentrout, 99, formerly of Shillington, died July 26th at 2:50 am in the Topton Lutheran Home, where he had been since January 16, 2004.

He was the husband of Margaret Elaine (Stickell) Ermentrout.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Henry R. and Emma May (Maurer) Ermentrout.

He was a 1924 graduate of Wyomissing High School and a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the Pi Delta Epison Fraternity.

Ermentrout was employed 14 years as the Business Manager by the Phoenixville Area School District, retiring July 1976.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #227 F & AM, Reading; Fellowship High Twelve Club #669; Rajah Temple, AAONM5 of Reading and a life member of the Stonersville Fire Company.

Ermentrout was also a past Lodge Council Chapter Consistory at the Scottish Rite Bodies in Valley of Reading.

He was also survived by a nieces and a nephews.

Memorial Services will be on Friday at 10:30 am in Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing. Visitation Friday 9:30 am until time of service in the church. Burial will be in the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, Pa 19610 or to Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, Pa 19562. Edward J.
