Donald R. Eisenhart

Donald Richard Eisenhart, 91, of Temple, died July 5, 2014 in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.

He was the husband of Betty May (Rissmiller) Eisenhart whom he married May 10, 1947.

Born December 14, 1922 in Muhlenberg Township, he was a son of the late Leo and Helen (Krick) Eisenhart.

He was a 1941 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and South Dakota Army School.

Donald was employed with Lieberknecht's, Laureldale; American Chain and Cable, Reading as a value tester and with Dana Corp., Reading, as a tool maker where he worked for 22 years, retiring in 1985.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Donald was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

He enjoyed golfing, watching races and baseball. He also loved to travel.

Donald was a member of Goodwill Fire Company Beneficial Association.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his two daughters: Sandra J., wife of Richard E. Matz of Spring Township and Barbara M., wife of Barry D. Kline of Kenhorst.

Other survivors include his three grandsons, and one great grandson.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
