Donald E. Walton

Donald E. Walton, Sr., 69, died November 18th in his residence on Frush Valley Road, Muhlenberg Township.

He was the husband of Anna V. (Seaman) Walton.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late James Walton and Luella (Ringler) Hayes.

He was a truck driver for 24 years at American Color and Chemical, Reading.

Walton later worked for 6 years as a truck driver for Cast Rite, Birdsboro, before retiring in 1992.

He is also survived by a son, Donald E. Jr., of Virginville and six daughters, Annette M. (Walton) Hartz of Mertztown, Gail L. (Walton) Weis of Tuckerton, Vickie L. (Walton) Kendrick of Robesonia, Bambie L. (Walton) Seifrit of Oley, Melissa A. (Walton) Manmiller of Muhlenberg Township and PenniJo (Walton) Zele of Laureldale.

Other survivors include a sister, JoAnn (Walton) Heffner of Georgia and a half-brother, Thomas Jacavidas of Muhlenberg Township.

There are 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 10:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 9:30 - 10:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
