Donald E. Potteiger

Donald E. Potteiger, 59, was dead on arrival at the Reading Hospital on November 26, 2007.

He was the husband of Nancy M. (Yoder) Potteiger.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Mabel (Bower) Potteiger, Reading and the late Charles Potteiger.

He was a graduate of Reading High School in 1967 and of Temple University in 1971.

Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps reserves.

He was a part owner and Treasurer for Dolfin International Corp., Reading for the past 25 years.

Donald was a member of the Berks County Young Republican Club, the Isaac Hiester Lodge #660; and was a volunteer and supporter of the Holy Name High School Extravaganza.

He was an avid fisherman, boater and hunter and member of various sportmen's clubs.

He is also survived by his son, Jared A., Boston, MA, one brother, John fiance of Karen Weist, Wyomissing Hills; and a sister, Kathy (Potteiger) wife of Frank Kulaga, Oley. Two nephews, Steven Potteiger and Alan Kulaga; and one niece, Amber Kulaga also survive him.

Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial in Charles Evans Cemetery will be private. Friends may call Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to St. Margaret's R.C. Church 925 Center Ave. Reading, PA 19601.
