Donald L. Billman

Donald L. Billman of Hamburg died Wednesday, February 3rd in his residence. He was the husband of Helen L. (Yoder) Billman. Donnie was born in Lynnport and was the son of the late Earl and Mabel (Gehart) Billman. He was a 1956 graduate of Hamburg High School where he played basketball. Donald served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Hamburg Unit. He worked for 26 years for the former Penn Steel, Hamburg lasting working as the plant manager. Donald was a member of the Hamburg Lions Club, Hamburg Historical Society and Hamburg Moose, Lodge # 523. In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by one son, Jeffrey Billman, Robesonia, two step-children, Jan wife of Robert Hermansader, Windsor Township, Craig W.Correll, Hamburg, two brothers, Steve Billman, Hamburg and Neal husband of Barbara Billman, Lansdale. Four grandchildren also survive Donald, Chad husband of Jill Billman, Zachary Billman, Kristi wife of John Lash, and Ashley wife of Thomas Senkowski, and four great-grandchildren also survive Donald, Kenny, Samantha, Sarah and Owen. A son, Christopher R. Billman, predeceased Donald. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 10th at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Township.
