Dominick J. Dalessio

Dominick J. DaLessio, 85, formerly of Reading, died August 18, 2010 in Berks Heim.

His wife, Blanche M. (Berube) DaLessio, died September 11, 2001.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Antonio and Adelina (DeMarco) DaLessio.

He worked in the refrigeration field for Abbotts Dairy for many years and then went to work for Pepsi-Cola, Reading until his retirement. He also loved to work on cars and electronics.

Dominick is survived by five children, Donald J., husband of Bonnie DaLessio, Bethel, Patricia A., wife of Earl Reichardt, Michael J., husband of Sherry DaLessio, Richard L., husband of Gina DaLessio, and Ralph B., all of Reading. Ten grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive him.

He was predeceased by one son, Anthony in 1985 and two sisters Helen Fugarino and Phyllis Diaz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
