Dolores McDonough

Dolores G. McDonough, 99, of Larksville, passed away on October 29, 2025, in the care of Sinking Spring Nursing and Rehab. She was the widow of William I. McDonough, who passed away on October 20, 2002.

Born in Larksville to the late John and Margaret (Kaminski) Malahowski, she was baptized in St. John the Baptist Church. Dolores was a very active member of her church until her health prevented her from participating in her beloved community.

A 1944 graduate of Larksville High School, she worked for many years at RCA/General Electric, and retired at age 65.

Left to treasure Dolores's memory are her children: Marie Williams (William Williams) of Sinking Spring; Sharon Telencho of Gilbertsville; and William McDonough Jr. (widower of Barbara) of Larksville; her seven grandchildren; and her growing number of great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Konarski. In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Fealy, Stella Killian, and Frances Jones, and her brother, John Malahowski.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to her church, St. John the Baptist Church, 126 Nesbitt St, Larksville, PA 18651.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, 126 Nesbitt St, Larksville, PA 18651, with commital to follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the start of mass. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
