Dolores J. Hilbert

Dolores Joan Kline (Klemmer) Hilbert, 75, of Temple, died February 19, 2013 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Terry Hilbert whom she married September 5, 1992.

Born January 8, 1938 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen W. (Spohn) Klemmer.

Dolores was a member of Hopewell Mennonite Church, Reading, where she enjoyed being very active.

She loved the shore, especially Bay Shore Marina in Delaware where she vacationed often. While there, she loved boating on her pontoon boat.

As a young woman, Dolores enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Above all else, Dolores, loved being a mother and homemaker. She was always there for anyone and enjoyed helping people.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Robert Lee Kline of Wyomissing; her daughters, Shirley A., wife of Richard Mercer of Ludington, MI and Denise M., wife of Robert Stoyer of Kenhorst; her step-sons, Timothy L. Hilbert of Shoemakersville, Steven L. Hilbert and David L. Hilbert, both of Fleetwood and her step-daughter, Tiffany M. Hilbert of Fleetwood.

Other survivors include her five siblings: Paul Klemmer of Arizona; Gary Klemmer of Sinking Spring; Miriam Klemmer of Reading; Linda Steranko of Reading and Mary Jane Caruso of Mt. Penn.

There are also seven granchildren: Gary, Robbie, Nicholas, Joel, Bobby, Haylee, and Mickela.

Dolores was predeceased by her son, Joel Ray Kline and her sister, Shirley Klemmer.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
