Dolores Blaszczynska

Dolores Blaszczynska, born on July 15, 1943, age 80, passed away on November 11, 2023, in her Reading residence.

Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Casimir Blaszczynski and Angela (Dombrowski) Terefenko.

She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and the Felician Convent in Lodi, New Jersey.

Dolores was a Felician nun and taught in New Jersey, Philadelphia and St. Mary's Parochial School, Reading. Later, she worked at Luden's Candy, Camp Hosiery and Berks Heim as a dietician until she retired.

Her faith was very important to her. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Survivors include her brother, Michael J. Terefenko; nephews, Joshua M. Terefenko and Mark Maciejewski; nieces, Sarah L. Stevens and Michele Maciejewski: and cousin Harriet Dombrowski.

She was predeceased by her sister, Theresa (Blaszczynski) Maciejewski in 2004.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Kopicki-Bradley Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Reading with a prayer service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery will be private.
