Diane L. Strohl

Diane L. (Royer) Strohl, 67, of Cumru Township, passed away November 15, 2016, at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Elsie Royer.

She was a graduate of Manheim Township High School, Lancaster PA.

Diane was employed by Boscov's Department Store, Coventry Mall for 20 years, retiring in January, 2015.

Diane enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her love of music, animals, shopping & entertaining was shared with many people throughout her life. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank everyone that helped care for Diane at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Reading Hospital and The McGlinn Cancer Institute.

Surviving is her daughter Elizabeth Strohl, Hellertown, her son, Joseph husband of Krista Strohl, Reading, four grandchildren; Nicholas, Alyssa, Lindsey and Christian; and her beloved boxer, Mr. Lucky.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, 1188 Ben Franklin Highway East (Rt. 422), Douglassville, PA 19518. Visitation will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Diane's memory to The McGlinn Cancer Institute Patient Financial Assistance Fund, Sixth Avenue and Spruce St. Building N ground West Reading, PA 19611.
