Diana H. Barton

Diana Helen (Morgan) Barton, 71, of Maidencreek Township, died May 29, 2012 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Thomas Harold Barton, whom she married May 2, 1965.

Born August 2, 1941 in Passaic, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Michael M. and Mary (Scemanzco) Morgan.

Diana was a 1959 graduate of Passaic High School and also a graduate of Berkley Secretarial School, NJ.

She was employed as a chaplain secretary with Albright College for 7 years, last working February 24, 2012.

Surviving are her two daughters: Kathleen M. (Barton), wife of Glenn Fredericksen of Downingtown and Sandra E. (Barton), wife of Alen Chute of Shillington.

In addition, she is survived by her two grandsons, Matthew Chute and Thomas Fredericksen.

Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held from 1:30-3:00 p.m.
