Despina M. Green

Despina M. (Choumbakos) Green, 75, died August 3, 2016, in her Spring Township residence.

Born in Lebanon, PA she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Patsouracos) Choumbakos.

She was a graduate of Reading High School and Albright College.

Despina was employed by The Heritage of Green Hills as a sales marketing director.

She was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading, where she was a member of the St. Xenia Philoptochos Society.

She is survived by her four children: Harry, husband of Stacey Dimitriou, Grantville; Elizabeth, wife of Eric Dowiak, Skippack; David, husband of Dawn Wagner, Weston, FL; and Christopher, husband of Stefanie Wagner, Sinking Spring; and her brother Socrates Choumbakos. Six grandchildren: Alexis Dowiak Ashley Dowiak, Nicholas Wagner, Alyssa Wagner, Jackson Wagner and Maria Wagner also survive her.

Services will be Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. in Sts Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Saturday from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the church.
