Desiree Ann Tipsword

Desiree Ann (Young) Tipsword, 23, of Reading, died May 28, 2009 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital following a vehicle accident on Fleetwood Lyons Road, Richmond Township.

She was the wife of Bryan N. Tipsword, whom she married May 3, 2008.

Born in Reading on March 13, 1986, she was a daughter of Todd Lee Young, husband of Sherri Ann (Dobisesky) Young of Exeter Township and Tammy Lynn (Good) Thomas, wife of Donald J. Thomas of Penn Township.

She was a 2004 graduate of Tulpehocken High School.

Desiree was employed four years in line production with East Penn Manufacturing, last working Thursday.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and worked hard raising her two children: Anthony Nathaniel Tipsword Freeman and Gianna Marie Young.

Other survivors include four siblings: Heather J. Young of Exeter Twp; Emily E. Young of Exeter Township; Kayla M. Thomas of Penn Township and Kristen A. Thomas of Penn Township.

Services will be Monday at 8:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 5 pm until time of services. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
