Dennis James Thomas

Dennis James Thomas, 68, passed away August 22, 2021, at Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Willie Mae (Steveson) Thomas, Reading and the late Walter James Thomas.

Dennis was a graduate of Reading High School. He enjoyed baseball and football when he was younger.

He was employed by Rockwell International as a machinist.

Dennis was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He also enjoyed playing tennis and listening to music.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Odelina M. White and Theresa A. Thomas-Vernon, wife of Thomas Vernon, all of Reading and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Robert L. Thomas.

Services will be Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private. Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
