Denise Lynne Youse

Denise L. Youse, 65, of New Ringgold, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the care of Lehigh Valley Carbon campus. She was the loving wife of over 44 years to Barry C. Youse.

Born to the late Robert Sr. and Faye (Balthaser) Bowers, Denise graduated from Hamburg High School in 1979.

For over 15 years she has worked as a baker at the Blue Mountain Christian Retreat & Conference Center.

A long-time member of New Awakening Church of Orwigsburg, Denise's tremendous love for the Lord has been a cornerstone throughout her life. She treasured time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Blessed with an artistic eye, she was a joyful painter and created countless oil paintings, water colors, and acrylic paintings. She enjoyed gardening and decorating her home. Denise looked forward to long rides on the motorcycle.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Barry; their children: Amber Alexis, wife of Elan, of Orwigsburg; Rebekah Youse, wife of Harry Lamlin, of Mechanicsburg; Kayla Frisbie, wife of Jordan, of Shenandoah; and Joshua Youse of Colorado Spring; her grandchildren, Ava, Maggy, Elan Jr., Nora, Micayla, Briana, Lilith, Alesana, Raven, and Jayden; her brother, Robert Bowers Jr., husband of Jane; her aunt, Ginny Balthaser; as well as her many cousins and their families. Denise will also be missed by her six chihuahuas, who she adored.

In addition to her parents, Denise was predeceased by her sisters, Ginger Trabosh and Jennifer Lusch.

Funeral services for Denise will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 40 S 4th St, Hamburg, PA 19526, with committal to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
