Delphine D. O'Halloran

Delphine D. (Sinton) O'Halloran, 76, formerly of Sycamore Road, West Reading, died February 1st at 4:30 am in her residence at 1000 Yarrow Avenue, Muhlenberg Township, Reading, Pa 19605.

Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence L. and Marquerite (Petrie) Sinton.

She was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School and a 1949 graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. O'Halloran also attended the University of Pennsylvania.

O'Halloran worked for 20 years as a Registered Nurse for the Veterans Association, working in the Philadelphia and Lebanon Hospitals until her retirement in 1981.

She was an Army Veteran.

O'Halloran was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

She was the past president of the Federal Employees Association at the Lebanon Veteran Hospital.

O'Halloran is survived by a daughter, Sarah-Jane O'Halloran of Muhlenberg Township.

She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jennifer Rosado of Reading and David Zavala of Muhlenberg Township.

There is also a great granddaughter, Nala Hine of Reading.

Memorial services will be Sunday March 21st at 1:30 pm in Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, Pa 19610. Inurnment will be in the church mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
