Dee Ann Schultz, 55, formerly of Wernersville, PA died July, 26, 2011 in Spruce Manor, after a four year battle with cancer.

Born in Ridgewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Herbert C. and Geraldine E. (Ireland) Schultz.

She earned her bachelor's degree in education at University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her master's degree at State University of New York at Albany.

Dee Ann was a lifelong teacher who made an impact on her students around the world and enjoyed keeping in touch with them.

She was previously employed as an elementary education reading specialist in upstate NY, as an English teacher in Egypt, Cohoes, NY and most recently in Seoul, South Korea.

Dee Ann loved to travel, read, cook, bake and crochet. She was very active with Loving Arms, a Cancer Support Group in Reading, PA.

She attended Community Evangelical Church, Sinking Spring, PA.

Dee Ann is survived by her son, Eric Subik and girlfriend, Stacey LaClaire;, Wilmington, NC; her brother, Herb, husband of Kathy Schultz, Sinking Spring and her nieces and nephew: Brian, husband of Laura Bonfante, Bethlehem, Sydney Schultz and Dana Schultz both of Sinking Spring. She is also survived by an amazing group of friends around the world that will greatly miss her.

She was predeceased by her sister, Cathy S. Schultz.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 30 at 2:00 p.m. in Community Evangelical Church, 51 Green Valley Rd., Sinking Spring, PA. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Glad Tidings-Loving Arms (in loving memory of Dee Ann Schultz), 1110 Snyder Rd., West Lawn, PA 19609. Edward J.
