Deborah P. Lachina

Deborah P. (Patterson) Lachina, 67, passed away September 6, 2016, in her Reading residence.

Her husband, Angelo J. Lachina, died on June 12, 2016.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Jeanette Becker Patterson Stubler.

She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1966 and attended Kutztown University.

She was employed by the State of Pennsylvania for 18 years as a District Justice from 1994-2012.

Deborah was a member of the Democratic Party and also served on the District Justice Judicial Review Committee; executive director of the Neighborhood Housing Services; and Victor Emmanuel Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two children: Lisa Marie Smith, West Reading and Antoinette Isabella Lachina, Laureldale and two grandchildren: Anthony Filippini and Aislin Reinert.

Prayer Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Burial will follow in adjoining cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. in Edward J.
