Deborah Ruth Hummel

Deborah Ruth Hummel, 67, passed away on February 28, 2022, at her Shillington residence.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of Ralph Emerson and Naomi Vivian (Anderson) Hummel. She graduated from Conrad Weiser High School before working as a trainer at Aetna Insurance for many years.

Deb loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews and take family trips to Myrtle Beach. She also enjoyed shopping on QVC and was fond of connecting with friends and family on Facebook.

Deb is survived by her siblings: Holly Adams, Ralph Hummel, and Tim Hummel, husband of Helen. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, March 8th at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading. A viewing will be held beforehand from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the American Heart Association.
