David D. Stout

David Dennis Stout, 69, passed away February 20, 2009, in his Shillington residence.

He was the husband of Nancy Jean (Stettner) Stout.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Donald George and Lavona Elaine (Yerger) Stout.

He was employed as a truck driver for Mrs. Smith's, Pottstown, and as a supervisor for American Materials Handling, West Reading. Thereafter he was employed in the industrial trades industry until his retirement in 1996.

David was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading. He was also a former member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Muhlenberg.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

David is survived by two daughters: Dana L. Stout, partner of George Merkel, Shillington, and Lisa M. Stout, wife of Brian Vivier, New Haven, CT. His brother, Donald G. Stout, also survives him.

A viewing will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
