David R. Campbell

David R. Campbell, 52, of Reading, died December 22, 2011, while vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Charles R. Campbell, Sr. and Sandra K. Campbell, Mohnton and his late mother, Roseann (Shea) Linette.

He was a 1977 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School.

David was the owner of David R. Campbell Roofing, Reading for 25 years.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

David enjoyed traveling to Keywest and Manhatten with his good friend Barry, hiking the Pinnacle, races at Unadilla, concerts at Penn's Peak and spending time with his son Brock.

David is also survived by his son, Brock P., husband of Amanda Campbell, Womelsdorf; his brother, Charles Jr., husband of Candace Campbell, Leesport; his sister, Lisa Linette, Wyomissing; two step-brothers, Eric Reeser, Reading and Randy, Jr., husband of Kimberly Reeser, Mohnton; and his beloved dog, Nugget.

Memorial Services will be Friday at 5 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private.
