David A. Pottiger

David A. Pottiger , 56, of Fleetwood died November 18, 2014 in Chestnut Hill Hospital.

He was previously married to Lori R Pottiger for 23 years.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Allen M. and Doris M. Pottiger.

David was a 1974 graduate of Reading High School.

He was an officer at the Kutztown Police Department where he served for 28 years. David also devoted 24 years of service to the Army National Guard and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

David enjoyed fishing and was an avid collector. But most importantly he was proud to be a veteran and a public servant.

In addition to his former wife, he is survived by his son, Eric, husband of Jessica Pottiger, Sinking Spring; sister, Donna, wife of Scott Kephart. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Aubrey Paige Pottiger and niece, Karly Elizabeth Kephart.

Service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
